FREE JUNIOR BASKETBALL!

Kids sport is such an important part of their social and physical development we hate to see anyone miss out on the opportunity to play because of cost, and in these harsh economic times, cost can be a major hurdle.

SO…Police Citizens Youth Club, Nambour (PCYC) has said NO MORE.  No more will a child miss the opportunity to play sport because of cost…so this year our junior basketball will be FREE.  Yes, FREE no strings attached, no hidden costs, no sales pitch… FREE.  We want to see kids playing an enjoyable safe sport in our great new basketball facility every Saturday morning.  We will provide the courts, balls and even the basketball uniforms.  We’re not interested in your money we’re interested in your kids development.  We encourage you to stick around and encourage them, even help out with the teams if you can.  Let’s blow a big raspberry to the “Global Economic Crisis” and get our kids into sport.

So get in and be in a team.  We are having a FREE BBQ, game and sign on day Saturday 20th February from 8.30am.  Come on down and sign up for free.  All we ask in return is that if you commit to a team, that you show up regularly and don’t let them down.  If you can’t make the sign on day, come in and see Sergeant Marty prior to that date to sign up at PCYC in Youth Avenue, Nambour.

Please feel free to forward this message to anyone you feel may be interested.  ALL WELCOME.
